'Dance, No One's Watching' is an ode to the sacred and joyful act of dancing, an album that musically guides you through the night, from the possibilities that unfold when the evening still stretches ahead, to the final hours of dawn as the night draws to a close.

'Dance, No One's Watching' was written in 2023, when Ezra Collective were touring the world and becoming the first jazz band to win the Mercury Prize. It is a document of that era, when the band was conquering dance floors. From London to Chicago, from Lagos to Sydney – dance and rhythm connect us. These songs bear witness to that spirit.

The album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, where the band was surprised by a group of close friends and family members who transformed the recording session into a shared celebration of love, music, and dance.
