Even 20 years after the release of their debut album, Underworld's mark can still be seen in pop and club culture.
To celebrate "Dubnobasswithmyheadman's" anniversary, Rick Smith subjected his first record to a thorough overhaul at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. While digging through the old MIDI files, he came across a wealth of unreleased material and rare remixes, which now find their place on the deluxe version of Underworld's debut album alongside the original tracks and offer a fascinating insight into the album's creation process.
The result is a reworking of an album that can now confidently be called a classic.
